There are also legendary models, which are remembered over the years. True, you can become a legend not only in a positive, but also in a negative sense.
Below – gadgets for which their manufacturers should be incredibly embarrassing.
1. Nokia X

The consultants of the Russian communication shops are still horrified when they are reminded of the Nokia X. For this device, the Finns organized a rather loud PR campaign, but it turned out that a stillborn model took off on giant billboards.
It is very hard to make a smartphone that is bad in everything, but Nokia managed it. So, here is a list of problems:
1. Awful brick design with wide frames from 2011.
Apparently, Nokia has forgotten that there is competition among Android smartphones, unlike the Windows Phone market.

2. Samsung Galaxy Zoom

Back in the middle of the zero, vendors regularly tried to combine the phone with a camera. It seemed that the more impressive the lens, the better, but it quickly became clear that this was a fallacy.
The task of the camera on a smartphone is to be invisible, but super-quality. Now, for example, even a slightly protruding iPhone camera is seen as a serious drawback.
But we know that Samsung lives in its own world. In 2014, Koreans presented the Galaxy S4 (a fairly successful flagship), and then added two modifications to it – Active and Zoom. With the first device everything is clear – it is for extremes. But the second gadget did not find the target audience.
Can someone explain to whom this miracle was intended, which did not fit into a normal pocket? Photographers? They have their own technique, and more bulky. Instagram lovers? They would not carry this chest with them. Urban crazy? Well, maybe.
Galaxy Zoom was an inconvenient, cumbersome and inadmissibly narrow product. It is logical that Samsung made the right conclusions and closed this shop.
3. Yota Phone (2013)

The history of the first YotaPhone is a great tool for those who produce an innovative device. Here is the chronicle of the disease:
1. At the beginning of 2013, a YotaPhone with two screens (color and b / w e-ink) is brought to CES. They all praise the original device, and CNET editors even call it the best product of the exhibition.
2. The path of the model to the shelves took a whole year. In December 2013, the first YotaPhone finally got to retailers.
3. At the start, the domestic gadget was sold for 19,990 rubles. By that time, all the flagships of 2013 had already fallen in price to the same 20 thousand.
For this money, you could buy both the Galaxy S4, HTC One M7, LG G2, and countless Xperia Z devices. Only they had large FullHD screens, and the YotaPhone had a 4.3-inch HD display.
4. The first customers were furious because of the dampness of the firmware (the camera crashed, the calls were interrupted) and wondered why the black and white screen was devoid of a sensor. The bar, which was intended to control this screen, hardly responded to touch and behaved strangely.

4. LG G5

True, LG went the easy way: instead of inventing a telephone designer, sly Asians crammed lotions that connect to the G5 and noticeably increase its dimensions. In fact, the models got only an external column (10 thousand rubles) and an accessory for controlling the camera (5 thousand rubles).
Call these expensive devices modules extremely difficult. If you follow this logic, Nokia phones were also modular from the beginning of zero – they also connected an external camera.
Due to the modular design of the LG G5, it was initially doomed to play, but what’s even worse is that the device is too responsive to scratches – both on the screen and on the back surface.
5. Sony Xperia E1

If Sony had a task to spit fans in the face, then the Japanese definitely did it. Xperia E1 is a smartphone, which absorbed all the sins of available devices. The gadget was released in the first half of 2014 and cost about six thousand rubles at the start.
In China, it was already possible to take something bearable for this money, but Sony considered that people who spend less than $ 300 on smartphones are not worthy of normal devices.
First, the E1 did not have a front camera – to hell with the selfie. Secondly, the main one was not there either. Rather, it was, but these three insignificant megapixels were removed as if the gadget was wrapped in a pouch of polyethylene polyethylene.
But the most important thing is the E1 screen. They put the cheapest and dim four-inch display. 20 degrees left or right – colors change dramatically. You go out in the sun – consider that there is simply no screen.
